Crazy Days and Grande Ronde-A-View Car Show
With summer getting into full swing in La Grande and summer event season getting well under way, that must mean it is time for La Grande’s Crazy Days! Crazy days will take place July 13 and 14, and the Grande Ronde-a-View Car Show will once again take place during Crazy Days and last until Sunday, the 15th. There is no better time to get downtown, walk around, check out all the new things that have been happening and catch some great deals from our incredible local businesses, enjoy live music, games and much, much more. The Blue Pine Motorcycle Rally will also be taking place during Crazy Days!

The Grande Ronde-a-View Car Show is a favorite of car lovers from across the region, and will be bringing beautiful classic cars onto Adams Avenue for Crazy Days. The show officially kicks off on Friday evening at the La Grande Drive-In from 6pm-9pm. The car owners will meet up Saturday morning to cruise through Downtown La Grande where they’ll be setting there cars up for display during the festivities. Participants in the car show will continue the fun on Sunday with a Poker Run.
Come downtown and enjoy the summer, people and festivities and show your support for La Grande Main Street and the City of La Grande, who put on the event, as well as the numerous other non-profits, artists and vendors who will be downtown as well.
Friday
- Sidewalk sales
- Downtown Poker Walk (10 am – 3 pm)
- Poker Walk Game Cards will be available for purchase at the Chamber of Commerce 207 Depot
- $2
per game card or 3 for $5 – - Take poker game cards to the selected businesses and draw a card. Merchant will recorded drawn card on the game card. After visiting all seven selected business, take completed card back to the Chamber of Commerce.
- Best poker hand recorded on the game card will receive half of the funds collect.
- The non-winning poker game cards will be entered into a door prize drawing; therefore, it is important to return all game cards
Saturday
- Fireman’s Breakfast at fire museum
- Sidewalk sales will continue
- Displays and vendors
- Grande Ronde Fitness Center will provide demonstrations
- Belly dancing at Max Square
- Rise, Inc will sell handmade soaps/candles, woodwork
- Poi Dog Imports will sell unique sarong wear
- Grande Ronde Bush Pilots
- Soccer demonstrations

Friday
- Cruise-In at drive-in theater (6 – 9 pm) Public welcome to come and view the cars
Saturday
- Car show (9 am – 3 pm)
- Frank Carlson will perform from 11:30 – 2:30
- Cruise throughout downtown (7 – 9 pm)
- Frank Carlson will perform at Max Square (7 – 9pm)
- Public is invited to watch the cruise along Adams Ave or come to Max Square and help select the cars to win the nine special “Cruise” trophies.
American Legion “Blue Pine Rally”
Friday
- Registration at American Legion Post, 301 Fir (4 – 8 pm)
- Barbeque and music at a cost of $5 (5 – 9 pm)
