FIlm Showing Tonight: GOOD FOOD -

I love stuff like this. I love that when I'm standing outside actively cutting back on smoking, my friend Janet rides up on her bicycle and tells me about something cool that's about to happen around here.
So what she said is that a film called Good Food is showing at the Library tonight. It's an exciting film about sustainable food and farming in the Pacific Northwest, and it's developing a fast-growing grassroots following. Here's more about the film, as pilfered from the Oregon Rural Action website:
On Friday, June 19, the Blue Mountain Chapter will be showing an excellent film, “Good Food,” at 6:30pm in the Community Room of the Cook Memorial Public Library, 2006 4th Street in La Grande.
The film provides an intimate look at the farmers, ranchers, and businesses that are creating a more sustainable food system in the Pacific Northwest. Free to the public.
