La Grande has been, and continues to be, visited by some of the grooviest regional and national musicians. Mentions of La Grande echo in lyrics from Portland’s Jared Mees & The Grown Children, Boise’s Finn Riggins touts a new tune called ‘Benchwarmers’, and Laura Gibson’s full length album entitled ‘La Grande’ is just hitting the sound waves. Eastern Oregon University brings to the stage many musical acts ranging from Portland’s Opera, Oregon Symphony, as well as many coffee shop college musical acts. Keep an eye on the Live Music Calendar for upcoming visiting bands and below for great featured insights into them.
